Default anyone toyed with this idea?

has anyone thought about swapping a f20c1 into a civic? i think that kind of n/a power is awesome. but the question would be would it work, becuase the swap would be for a rwd car, or could it bolt up so you can still have fwd?

I'm sure there's been a few who have considered the swap. That S2000 engine is one fine piece of engineering. More HP per liter than any Ferrari.

I'm sure it's doable as a RWD conversion. But I think it'd be more interesting if it were attempted as a swap that still maintains FWD. But a ****load of parts would probably have to be fabricated.

hell no i aint even thinking of it...i drove by the honda lot and saw a s2000 and thought wow that would be nice to have in a civic. fwd although. hell I am probably scrapping the performance idea for now anyway, seeing as how my civ has under 90k miles on it, and i have to save 5k for schooling next year as well as 2500 for insurance....the performance aspect of my car is now at a utter hault unless i get a significant raise...at that point it will either be a brand new car, or a b16 turbo

^Wait, what? You're saying that if you could swap an F20C into your civic you would want to keep it FWD???? The whole point in swapping that bad boy in would be to get RWD!!!

hell, i dont know, rwd would be really neat especially in a sedan like mine, if the swap has been done, and i bet its been done maybe once or twice, fwd wasnt attempted. the whole point i was thinking of is a f20c 240hpNA! in a little civic. imagine that. i realize b18 can do it, but i'm just saying how many civics do you see with them? plus if it was converted to rwd you would have a 6 speed, talk about your auto x racer
