Default audio / electric problem please help

i have a problem with my parents 2000 for expedition. i know its not a civic but you guys have helped me before and would really appreciate it. see my older brother installed a sub and amp and after about a couple of days a whole bunch of electrical stuff didn't work. clock, radio, and windows. its very annoying. the thing is that a fuse is blown and when it is replaced everything works for about 10 minutes and then it blows. this is with everything unhooked from the battery so i don't know the cause. if anybody has ever had this problem before with any car info will be much appreciated. Thanx.

he shouldn't have tapped anything for the remote wire. b/c the remote wire is supposed to go into the back of the stereo. switch that m,an and correct it anything else.

He didnt say anything about a stereo so I just assumed it was still the stock OEM stereo. Besides if he did it right and went to the back of the stereo everything would mostl likely be working fine.
