ok so i own a 90 si, and i was wondering if i bought the b16 off hmotorsonline will the harness that comes with the motor plug directly into my under the hood harness. im getting the b16 first gen, so it will be obd0, and if i can i will keep it that way for the time being.

i dont think it does since your factory wiring is for civic and the new harness is wired for an integra,but may be wrong but you can use your stock wiring harness on the new motor and just run your vtec wires, question i have is what ecu are you gonna use to run vtec??? since your si is nonvtec and also the b16 revs to 8k and your stock ecu revs to 6k.

 

u can use the b16 harness but it be the same using your si harness cuz either way u have to run your own vtec. inless u get a indash to engine bay harness as well. VTEC to A7 Pressure switch to B5 http://images.google.com/imgres?imgu...a%3DN%26um%3D1

 

Well I think the motor is actually coning from a sir, so that why I was wondering, and whatever ecu come with the swap its on hmotorsonline.com if you want to check it. That's cool I'm sure running my own vtec wires aint that hard it already wired to obd1, I did a z6 swap
