Default B18c knock sensor questions

I got a b18c swaped in my 00 hatch, the motor is a 97 b18c and I was told that motor doesn't have a knock sensor but mine does... Did I get incorrect info?

Also I'm running the ecu for that motor and my check engine light came on for code 23, the knock sensor but only after swapping the ecu for a gsr one to get it inspected. So the lift came on with the gsr ecu so I swaped them back for the stock b18 ecu and the knock sensor code 23 came on again after running the car down the street. I also though that that ecu didn't even look for a knock sensor???

Anyone have a b18c and know if their motor has a knock sensor? Thanks

Yeah I know where it is and what it is and I wired t up when I did the swap but I was told that the motors from japan don't have them? So you are talking about a b18c and not just a b18c1 correct? I have a 97 b18c from japan and I was also told the ecu from japan for that motor doesn't look for a knock sensor??? Is this false information?
