hi to all i need some help i recently bought a b18c4 vti v reg it was running sweet untill Sunday gone for some reason my v-tec stopped working cheers

Have you pulled the CEL codes?

Does the CEL work? A CEL code is a common reason that VTEC won't engage. Is the engine oil level low?

hi yes the oil level is gud Ive cleaned the vtec and ive tried my mates solonoid and had no luck

hi yes mate it does work u turn the ignition on it comes on start the car goes off as it should

What ECU do you have? Does it support VTEC?

run a +12v wire from battery to a switch back to the vtec wire on head....
while driving down the road flip the switch does vtec now work????
this will determine if it is mechancial or electrical
if the vtec kicks in then its an electrical problem if it dont kick in then its a mechanical problem
