Default Bad O2 sensor (under car)

My 01 civ LX has a bad O2 sensor, just got back from the dealership where they did a diagnostic, but I was planning on driving about 400 miles this weekend, should I borrow my parents' car? Oh yeah, the O2 sensor isnt the one in the engine bay, they told me it was the one under the car. The part will be in wednesday, should I drive this weekend, and if I do, could it hurt my engine? thnx
