Default bonnet release cord

hi all,

long time reader 1st time poster! haha

i have a 93 civic lsi and the bonnet relase cord has snapped or came undone or something, when i pull the cord the bonnet will not pop open. the bonent goes down and clicks under the lock but does not close all the way

i can drive fine and have done the last 6 months and nothing happens. but its not fully closed. so basically anyone could open my bonnet if they just went up to the car.

is this cord hard to replace and or fix??

yes it is hard to replace i have a 92 civic hatch and mine broke i had to take the front bumper and drivers side fender off to replace it. and getting the cable to hook up in the latch on the hood was a bitch i would get it fixed cause there is a chance your hood (bonnet) could come up when your driving
