Default brake and power sterring fluid

today, when checkin my oil and coolant, i checked power steering and brake fluids, brake fluid was ok while the resrvoir walls had some kind of green residue on it, is it ok or should i flush my break system?
also the power steering fluid was not see through anymore and the pump sometimes makes noises when i turn the wheel. is it time for the change?
i have 73k miles on the 2001 civic.

It would be a good idea to change the brake and power steering fluid. What type of noise are you hearing when you make turns? Are you sure the noise is coming from the pump?

not even form the turns, when just turn the steering wheel when the car is not moving or moving slowly, had the same noise on another car due to the low level of the fluid, while in this case fluid level seems to be ok.

Check whether the PS belt may be loose or slipping. If so, tighten or replace.
