Default Brakes Pulsing past 55mph on 06 Civic

My 06 Civic Sedan with 17K seems to need the brake rotors replaced or turned,
Dealer says it's because I live in the mountains and they want to turn the rotors instead of new rotors, my GMC pickup has 85K in the mountains with NO brake problems.

Any body else have this problem???

If it's still under warranty and the rotor turning will be free, I say let 'em do it. What could it hurt? Have you done some high-speed (110+mph) braking or anything to warp the rotors or did it just start happening for no reason?

excessive braking will result in rotor warping. So, if you say, live in the mountains, and ride your brakes to maintain speed on the way down, doing that for a consistent amount of time, every day, for a year, will easily warp your rotors.

I used to live at the top of a fairly decent sized hill, and could have problems with the brakes on automatic vehicles in my household as a result of this.
