A/C blowing warm, low-side pressure is high

Hello... been having trouble with the A/C in my 93 Civic LX for a while. The system was completely replaced 6 years ago. At first, it would intermittently blow warm and cold... it recently stopped blowing any cold air at all, so I stopped using it.

I bought refrigerant (my car had been converted to R-134) thinking the system was low, but the low-side pressure was normal (about 40-45). After starting the car and turning on the A/C for about 10 minutes, the low-side pressure jumped over 100PSI so I shut it down.

The condenser fan is working and the compressor clutch is engaging as far as I can tell.

Any ideas? (Thanks in advance!)

To confidently diagnose the problem, you need to measure refrigerant pressures at both the low and high sides when the A/C is ON and OFF:

It's normal for the low side to be over 100 when the compressor is not engaged. If your compressor doesn't engage every time that it should, the clutch gap may be too wide.
