A/C and Window problems
96 Civic LX.
A/C hasn't worked since I bought it (pressure in the system, just won't blow cold) but it has never been a problem before, as I just use the good ol' 2-65 A/C.
Now my power windows have stopped working as well.
Crap.
I got all the windows up by fiddling with the cluster of wires running across the driver door opening until I found the sweet spot, and rolling them up. If I let go of the wires, no window rolling was in the cards for me. The windows have been up since September, but now it's getting towards that time of year...
Anyone have any thoughts on either of these problems?
I've done a lot of my own work on this car, so I'm not afraid to roll up my sleeves and get a little dirty, but I'm not at all familiar with any of the climate system, and the thought of having to mess with any of the wiring to fix the windows is a little intimidating.
Thanks

The problem with the windows seems clear, you need to replace the door wires. You can buy the door harness, or splice in new wires one at a time. Make sure the splices are not in the area that flexes when the door opens.
A/C troubleshooting, start by confirming the compressor belt is still in place. Start the engine and set the controls on the dash for cold. When you press the A/C button, three things should happen: condenser fan starts, engine idle increases, and the compressor engages.
