camber..and suspension
88' civic hatch, car is slammed.... im going to bring it up because its too low (previous owner slammed it) well first off the camber is way off, what do you think the most ideal place for the strust to be adjusted?(how far off the ground should i put the car) and even if its lower than stock will the camber be fine? can i even adjust my camber as is? or is my stock suspension non-adjustable? and last question, stock how far off the ground is this car? 1988 civic si HB i dont know if the Si has different parts for suspension stock so i just put that out there, thanks guy
If you are going to buy springs buy good lowering springs that only lower it like 2" from the cars stock height. That way you wont have to buy 2 springs if you plan on lowering in the future.
I recommend Tein S-Techs

my springs are struts are adjustable, but i need to know where i can put it where the camber wont be off, if i can that is other than stock, so basically, can i lower the car only a bit and have the camber be correct? or do i need to buy a camber kit? and where is stock for a 89 civic si HB ?
still not the answer im lookin for.... if i put the car only a little below stock, will the camber still be off?
and if anybody has a stock suspension 88-91 HB si can you measure it for me?

it'll most likely be off but probably within spec. You'll still need an alignment after you adjust the height.
anytime you go lower than stock the camber gets worse. its either stock with correct camber.or lower and buy a camber kit and take it to an alignment shop and they can adjust it for you. you can adjust your suspension up and take it to a shop and they can tell you if the camber is still off or not then adjust suspension from there. it will be hard to have somebody tell you where there crx stock height is and compare it to yours there are to many different variables to mention.
ok so ive been doin some research, my car from the pinch weld is about 2 3/4 off the ground ( all the way around) first off, my buddys car is about the same and he has a a rear camber kit (no front), he rotates his tires regularly and says he doesnt tear his tires up fast , then i googled some stuff and came up with this guys thread http://honda-tech.com/showthread.php?p=39410465
so then i was thinkging, raise the car up 1 inch and install a rear camber kit, fix camber in rear and toe in front should be good enough (im going to school soon so i need more tire life not traction for racing...)
tell me what u guys think
