Hi, guys well today my car started running "weird". I mean it's slow but NOW it runs slower. I have a Civic 90 HB, dual point to be exact, and ya'll know they are slow. I usually don't take it out but today I decided to. I was driving like for 15min when my car started to run slow. I would accelerate everything and it wouldn't go any faster. I had the pedal to the metal and it would struggle to increase in speed. The motor doesnt knock or do any weird noise only when I accelerated my muffler it sounds way different and louder than before.It sounds like a truck now lol. I have a stock exhaust by the way. Like a week ago a replace the valve cover gasket but I dont think that has anything to do with this. So im asking for yall help. Please help me ASAP. Hope is nothing that bad.

 

is it a 5 speed? Is it possible your clutch is going out? If its automatic check your trans. fluid...

 

its a possibility cause I haven't changed it in a while but it shifts good though and turns on good too.

And yes its a 5 speed.

if its going bad it may have enough clamping force to hold under idle but when you give it more power it slips... Something to check on... or check to make sure your fluid is full/ not leaking/ and clean with no water in it...
