Default car won't start, already tried some stuff. HELP

Hello folks, my fiance has a 98 civic lx. a couple days ago it decided it no longer wanted to start. i have had the battery and alternator checked and they are fine. when you turn the key, all the lights turn on fine and there is a repeated clicking sound, not the single clunk that would point to the starter, but who knows. I have replaced the distributor cap, ignition rotor, spark plugs and spark plug wires. but the car is still showing the same symptoms. Any ideas? am i going to need to replace the entire distributor?

If the engine doesn't turn at all, the distributor doesn't matter. The problem is with the battery / starter. A repeated clicking usually means the battery is run down or defective. Have you tried jump-starting from another car?

Is the starter cranking the engine? A good battery with loose or otherwise bad connections between it and the starter could cause the clicking sound.

I'm going to check out the starter in the morning. Thanks guys. Just in case that's not it, does anyone know of anything else that may cause this?
