if its a swap for your old valve cover then thats a bad idea, since most carbon fiber out there are not 100% they will break. Now if its a slip over cover that goes over the whole valve cover then yes go for it. probably have to have it custom made

 

you could get a mugen valve cover... then be laughed at for spending that much on a valve cover... or buy a replica, and be laughed at for having an imitation. Either way you loose. Just paint it. It's quick, easy, and doesn't cost much of anything. All while adding a little extra something to your engine bay. Or as riceburner said, you can wrap it.

 

Paint it. It will make even a dirty sad engine bay look 100 times cleaner.
