Cel #9 help needed
 

Hi,

Ok, heres my situation. I was pulling a code 41(O2) went through and re-soldered all the wires and thats resolved. But im still pulling a code 9 (Cyl Sensor). I checked the resistance at the 8 pin connector and its well within range(bout 415). The dizzy and ecu(p28) are new. What is my next step in resolving this Cyl sensor code? Thank you

Unplug the ECU, leaving distributor plugged in, and measure sensor resistance at the ECU plugs. This tests the wiring all the way back through the harnesses and distributor. Also check for faults to ground. With ECU unplugged, the sensor circuits should be open circuit to ground.

Thx. What should the sensor resistance be at the ECU plugs?

The same as at the distributor, since the wiring has essentially zero resistance.
