CEL on and car wont idle right
ive changed the IACV because it crapped out on me. now that i switched it when i rev the engine it drops the rpms to like 1000 and brings it up to 1500 and trys to idle down but only stays at 1000 and eventually goes into limp mode ... what could be the probable cause for this ??
Is it hooked up correctly, and fastened securely? Not trying to be condescending, we all make goofy mistakes from time to time. DOuble/Triple check everything.
Have you tried bleeding the coolant system?

To fix the problem, you need to know the specific CEL code. There are several different CEL codes related to the IACV. Each code would possibly take your troubleshooting effort in a different direction.

its a 00 ex ... but how can i do this you said iton another thread of mine .....As you say, the IACV code generally indicates a faulty IACV; however, if cleaning or replacing the valve does not fix the problem, then you may want to troubleshoot the IACV/ECU circuit.
