I just bought my 2012 Civic LX. The car came with a factory alarm (or more like an immobilizer which would not set off an alarm when broken into). But I got the Honda Accessory alarm added a few days after the purchase, by the Honda dealership service center.

Before I had the alarm activated/added my civic would only honk once when locked and would not honk when being unlocked. Now, with the alarm system, it honks once when locked and twice when unlocked. I don't like this setting. Is there any way to change the alarm's "honk settings" for lack of a better term. I liked it how it was before. The dealership is very far away from me, so I would prefer to do this myself if possible.
