Default Check engine P0128 code for 06 Honda Civic coupe

Good afternoon. First time posting on here. I have a 2006 honda civic coupe that is stock and would like to keep it that way as it's my daily driver and looking for longevity out of the car. I have a check engine light on in the car, took it to a local auto parts store and they checked, it came up as a P0128 which is for a thermostat or thermostat housing? Well I've looked a bit online and everyone who replaces the thermostat recommends buying a honda brand part and not something from the parts store. So I called up the dealer and they wanted $68 for the thermostat but I can get them for $30 on amazon. Is there any other place locally to get them or is it basically either the dealer or buying them from online? I have today off and was wanting to get it fixed today but I guess to save $40 I can always wait until next week as well. In terms of switching out the old part, it doesn't look too difficult at all. I switched out the starter on my car last year and that was a complete PITA. Anyway, if you have any suggestions I'd love to hear them. Thanks!
