Hi!

Please advice in following situation...

I've got a Honda Civic '96 EK3 D15Z6 4D (Japanese import, steering wheel on right side, car produced 96-01)which used to be in great shape until some *$%###^ thieft tried to steal it. The Thieft brokesteering lock. Insurance companyinformed me that orderingneccessary parts will cost them 3500 euro so they want to write off mycar. Of course i didn't agree and i want to bring it back on the road. Only part that i need to replace is a steering column.I know that i have small chance to get japaneseversion of this part so here is my question.Would europeanpart fit propertly in my car? Also i foundthis part on one of german online stores but its forEJ9 model. Does steering column is same in EK3 as in EJ9 ? Also is there a differencein steering columns mounted in carson left or right side?
