Probs in wrong section but hey. Need a bit of info on the engine of civic lsi. Just want to know how reliable they are as might be buying one that has 124k on the clock and not sure if it will go bang as soon as i buy it. [sm=helpout.gif]

 

i dont specifically know the lsi engine, but i would have to say any engine over 100k miles is gunna be hit and miss. It may last 50k or 150k more miles, it just depends on how lucky you get. On the other hand if you can get it and have it rebuilt then its almost like having a new engine, just gotta break it in correctly.
