A buddy of mine is on his 4th set of axles, and says its really no big deal to replace them. Best thing to do, is get them at Autozone, they will come with a lifetime warranty. Just one less thing you'll have to think about down the road.

But aren't whole axles really pricey?

^^^^no i got a brand new one with a lifetime warrenty off of ebay for like 60 bucks

its when you get into ones that are specialty made for high horsepower that can get pricy because of the material they use in them.....

Hang about, I'd say its a cracked CV boot, mine was cracked and it made exactly the same clicking noises when I turned.

Try getting them replaced first and see if its fixes it, mine were only £30 to have replaced.
