Default CLUNK AND ROUGHNESS IN REVERSE

Hi,
I just got a pair of cv driveshafts (r and l) replaced. It cured the problems of clicking on turning while going forward but now as soon as I go reverse with the steering wheel turned to the left, there is a roughness (clicking and clunking) while shifting into reverse and while moving. Did I get a pair of duds or is there a break in period?
I just picked up the car, drove forward a few kms and had no problems until I drove to Wal-Mart and was forced to reverse to let a van out of the parking lot and heard that weird sound.
Thanks
James
