Default 'Clunking' Noise Worsening.....

So I have had this 'clunking' noise on in the front passenger side when I go over bumps. It has been getting worse and I thought it was the blown strut. I've been planning on getting new suspension anyways, so I did and I thought it would fix it..but it didn't. I've looked at everything I think it can be.. and even took the suspension off and put it back on. Put a bunch of new bushings on etc.. Put it up on a lift.. and NO ONE knows what it is.......

help!!!!!

Have you checked for loose upper and lower ball joints or a bad CV joint in the axle?

Well I dont think its the CV joint because it has nothing to do w/ speed..... doesn't matter if i'm going fast or slow its always the same when i hit bumps. It doesn't matter if i turn the wheel either direction either.... so i dont know if its that...but i'll check for the other things...

Do you think it could be the halfshaft? or no... its wierd....has no correlation with speed

I may be having the same problem. I just purchased my car and I love it but I have noticed a slight clunking noise when I hit a bump and every once in a while when I shift. I have been driving a truck for awhile so my noise may be normal. I was told that the car had coil overs installed but I have not looked yet. Any ideas on what to look for would be great.

Possible solution...

Check that all your suspension bolts are torqued to specifications. Since my suspension is really tight I have had some bolt loosen a little. Especially check the bolts on the front subframe.
