Exclamation Cluster Help

hey so i am doing an auto-manuel conversion on my 95 civic hatch that i recently purchased! when i changed out the gauges to the manuel gauge set, there is 2 extra plugs, a yellow and green one, i plugged the yellow plug into the new gauges! but the new gauges have a small green clip and my auto gauges had a large green clip, i managed to wire the small clip into my wiring harness.. all is good with it however; the tach works, the speedo works, the gas gauge works, the temp gauge works.. but i now have no dash lights, all the fuses are good, the taillights work, the dimmer switch works for the heat and cold air lights, can you help me please? any help would be greatly appreciated!

If it's a used cluster, check the bulbs first. Sometimes people just drive until they're all burnt out and then they don't care.

The lighting circuit is the red and black wire (supply) and solid red wire (path to ground through dimmer switch).
