the best question, is why did you have your timing belt changed 30,000 miles before it's recommended?

you need to open the hood with the car started and locate where the noise it coming from, start there ok.listin carefully
if the noise is from the passanger side something in your tranns, does it go into gear ok, shift ok. ect ect..
if the noise is coming from the drivers side take it back to who ever did it cause either the belt is not adjusted right, or like i said your water pump bearing might be going out, thats why its always a good idea to chage the water pump with the belt.

i checked where the noise is comming from. did notice some noise on the pass side of the veh. but like i said the noise goes away soon as the clutch is pressed thats why i was thinkin the clutch was at fualt.
any ideas on how i could do do this myself..i know i have to take the tranny out and apart and its gonna take all day..but any other info i need before i start it. also do you think the warranty will cover this...i asked them about it and they said it was some valve..i was like...uh..no. lol.
Dont do the work yourself if you have a warranty, that will void your warranty. Might as well have Honda do the work for you.
Sounds to me like the grinding/whining noise is probly your throwout bearing since it goes away when you push the clutch in. In my experience, they always seem to make a bit of noise anyway though, and its probly not worth taking the tranny out unless you need a new clutch too. But if your warranty covers it, then might as well have it done while your warranty is still valid. It could also be the timing belt/water pump as mentioned before. Usually when you replace the timing belt its a good idea to replace the water pump as well since they're cheap and everything is already apart.
