Default clutch pedal problem

Hey guys, I have a '94 civic ex, 5-speed. My car wouldnt start the other night when I went to leave work, so I checked the fuses, battery is fine, eventually had to push it off. It ran fine all the way home, I checked the starter and the switches, and they're ok. I did find a small hole at the top of my clutch pedal that allows the starter switch to pass through. Basically, my question is, is their supposed to be some kind of rubber block or grommet or something that is supposed to be there? And if so, where can I get a new one?

Thanks for any help, Chris

There should be locknut that holds the switch in place.

I found it online, there's a little stop pad at the top of the clutch pedal that makes contact with the switch. I guess mine got old and fell out. I appreciate the help. Chris
