So i was just going to the store this morning, and all of a sudden i saw the CEL turn on. So i pulled over at a gas station (i didnt turn off the engine because i was afraid the code wouldnt save) and checked for the code and it came up as Code 43 Fuel Supply System. i didnt know wat that code was... so i shut engine off and started it again, and it was just fine.
no CEL.

Any ideas wat might have caused this?
Its on my 93 Del sol. with a d16z6. and the p28.

If there are no engine performance problems, the O2 sensor is probably toast, though try to clean it before replacing.

 

Yeah it was really unexpected.
and the light never came on again. drover for about 17 miles after and it ran fine.
maybe its just dirty?
how would i go about cleaning it?
