Default cold air intake setup in a 91 civic

Anyone has some instructions or pictures of the install of a cold air intake on an old civic 1.5. I ve seen the set since its in my house, and theres the filter which in theory has to go to an outside source and get air. So i think i heard from someone that you need to put it in the bumper or cut something out. I know there's a bunch of people here who have done this. How do you connect the filter, to some cutout of the car or just let it sit there in the space of the old filter box(which i have to remove first).
Maybe you know of a website that would instruct on whats the correct procedure? the set i have is mugen.
