Default completestrut - any experience?

I have a 2000 Civic Si, automatic.
I need new struts. Previously I just had my mechanic do this but a friend told me about all in 1 struts, that do not require special tools to install.
I found this website - from some company called unity
Completestruts.com is your complete guide to factory direct prices on complete strut assemblies.

This appears easy enough but I am very nervous of this company and the product. If anyone has experience please let me know before I buy and make a mistake.

Thanks

You can buy complete struts from many sources including local parts stores.

It is not that hard to swap the springs off by yourself. The chain part stores will "loan" you a compressor tool but the one they have is sort of too big for Civic springs.

Default assemblies vs. renting a compressor

I have owned both an accord and a civic and i can say that the spring compressor idea can turn into a nightmare. i had to put a 90 dollar deposit down and the whole project took all day. (my first attempt with the civic) with the complete strut assembly on the accord, i just popped it in and i got an alignment. i hit myself for not just doing that the first time.

also, one of my friends in florida got his struts from the same place completestruts.com and he has had no issues so far either. his is a taurus, though, not a honda.
