Default Coolant issue - quick question -help

i put a valve breather on my car today, and as pulled it off, i pulled too hard and pulleda hose connected to the motor out that connect the motor to the bottom of the air intake manifold and coolant started to pour out of the motor end. i plugged the hose back in and took my car for a good 30 min ride, i dont see any signs of damage, do you have to bleed those lines, or do you think that im ok? im so worried im gona blow my motor or something please help!!

heres the part that coolant spilled out of

I don't think you have much to worry about as long as the coolant leak is fixed.

It would be a good idea to bleed the cooling system of possible trapped air. What year and engine Civic?

Bleeding the system is pretty straightforward:

you're fine, just top the coolant level off in a couple of days, and check the temp gauge for signs of over heating if you leaked a lot of coolant.

edit: p.s. that valve cover breather doesn't enhance performance, it hurts it, robbing the motor of that vacuum it needs in the intake system as well as helping with burnt exhaust gases in the valve chamber.

if it were my car, yes

there's always a reason that a manufacturer puts a piece of equipment on a vehicle. they don't just "add" things in the car to rob you of gas mileage or performance for no reason.

Don't just leave the valve cover open to the air because dust will get sucked in, mix with the oil, and damage your engine. If its not connected to the main air intake, it needs a little air filter of it's own.
