i dont know what a dizzy is sorry? but my map sensor is nowhere in my engine bay ive looked everywhere, im wondering if the previous owner moved it

edmaxx 06-28-2010 01:13 PM

oh, and no when i turn the key to any position it doesnt run

RonJ 06-28-2010 02:14 PM

Check hood fuse 31 and dash fuses 24 and 18.

Why have you removed any fuses?

When you turn the key to ON(II), does the CEL remain on or turn off after 2 seconds. If you truly have no MAP sensor, then a MAP sensor CEL code will be thrown.

i checked all those fueses like 5 times, their all good.

ya ive removed almost every fuse to check if their bad or not.

it remains on as long as its turned too 2nd position.

i did that and it stays solid? so im guessing im not throwing any codes? and doesnt my ecu reset when i ull the 30 fues under the hood that links the clock and ecu

94civichatchback 06-28-2010 03:16 PM

do you have anyone near by that u can use their ecu? any 92-95 civic ecu will work

RonJ 06-28-2010 03:17 PM

Did you check those three installed fuses for voltage on both test tabs?

Have you cleaned and tightened the ground wire attached to the thermostat housing?

Otherwise, you may have fried the ECU.

i tried my local junkyards yesterday and no one has one that i know off.. im thinking ecu too, i just dont understand how it didnt blow a fues first?

and ronj i checked all taps for current, their good, and i dont think my ground is bad because the fuel pump runs if i by pass the relay using its stock ground?
