Default Cruise Control & Rear Window Defogger Bulbs

The bulbs have burned out on my Cruise Control & Rear Window Defogger buttons. Anybody know how to remove the buttons so I can replace the bulbs.

97 EX Sedan, AT.

Thanks,

The pictures show how to remove the rear window defogger and cruise control switches, where the bulbs are located.

You need to remove the gauge assembly to access the cruise control bulb there.

RonJ,

Thanks for the post. Where did you get these instructions? It says to be careful when prying the defogger switch out but doesn't say exactly how to pry it out.

The cruise control says to see section 20 on how to remove the lower dashboard cover. Do you have section 20?

Thanks,

Look here for free downloadable Civic manuals: https://www.hondacivicforum.com/m_41699/tm.htm

Careful means wrap the tip of a flathead screwdriver with tape when prying switch out.

See picture for lower dashboard cover removal.
