I’m in the middle of doing a swap in my 99 ex civic it’s a d16y8 with a 5 speed this is my first swap because the y8 threw a rod bearing, I don’t have a big budget and already have the y7 I don’t know the year of it at the moment I’m going to check when I go work on it again but I need to know if the wiring harness from the y8 will hook up to the y7 I know abou the 3 prong sensor that won’t hook up I plan on swapping the intakes out
edit: I’m to the point where the axles need to come out and I’m wondering if there’s a way where I can take them out of the transmission without taking out the axle drive bolt
