D16Y7 Mini me, Injectors question
Hey, I'm about to do a mini me swap this weekend. I need to know if I need the d16Y8 injectors or can I get away with out them? I know they are a little bigger then the y7 ones but do I NEED them?
Also here is a list of everything I got so far let me know if I forgot anything:
D16y8 Head
Head gasket
Intake manifold gasket
Exhuast manifold gasket
Timing belt
water pump
ignition wires
spark plugs
copper spray
I don't have the ecu just yet gonna use the y7 and not use VTEC for now, should be in next week. Also I am gonna be using the y7 intake manifold until I can get a aftermarket one.
Thanks in advance!

RE: D16Y7 Mini me, Injectors question
If I were you I would get the y8 fuel injectors. I believe they are 240cc opposed to something like 190cc with the y7, try to find some at a junkyard you could prolly get a good deal.
Also I would recommend to get a y8 intake manifold instead of an aftermarket edelbrock one or whatever,if your trying to save cash. The runners are long in comparison to y7's which is good for more power. They are not bad intake manifolds by any means.
