Dashboard light dont work. need help

I took out my radio, put a new one in. It got dark, so i turned on my headlights, they worked, but my dash lights didnt. What the deal? I adjusted the dimmer **** and nothing happenend. What could be the problem?

check the fuse. I am not sure which one but it is printed on that little door.

Yeah, as ugh3012 says, first check fuse #30 in the under-dash fuse/relay box.

If the fuse is fine, then determine whether the dimmer switch is bad by performing the test described in the picture.

yeah i fixed it. it was a fuse

Make sure all the wires in the radio harness are taped up and insulated. One of them is the lighting wire; if it touches ground the fuse will blow again. This wire may not be connected to the radio but it still needs to be insulated so it can't short out.
