After getting frustrated while looking through Ebay for aftermarket replacement Oxygen Sensors for my 97 DX MT5 I went to a honda parts website and got the Honda part numbers for the Original Equipment O2 sensors. With the part numbers written down, I went back to ebay and looked around some more.
Eventually I ended up at the Denso website and looked up the denso replacement O2 sensors at the proverbial horses mouth. I was suprised to see that Denso is the Original Equipment Manufacturer for the rear O2 sensor Honda part#36532-P2E-A51.

Why is this in general tech help?

And how is Denso being the OEM for honda's o2 sensors surprising? It's not like Honda's going to spend the money to make in-house sensors when they can just buy them for less money.
