dirty d build
the reason i asked is to see if you know what your talking about..
and it seems you dont. a vtec head is a plus. it just allows the valves to stay open longer to allow more air intake to produce more power.

ever take the valve cover off a vtec engine and compair it to a no vtec engine 94 hatch?
there are 4 extra lobes on the cam and 4 extra rockers....meaning 8 more moving parts that can fail...and when you make boost and add back pressure and valve over stimulation you get a higher percentage of massssive fu***ing failure.
my take,
big boost needs simple design
recam a single cam d15b7 head and upgrade all the moving parts (valves, springs retainers, debur your rockers and have them cryo'ed)
mill the head and block
sleave the block
new conecting rods (although i have personaly seen the stock d15b7 rods take 350bhp)
you could even use stock pistons and bore,
arp studs and a t3/t4 turbo
run like 18 lbs
and then see what you get for hp lol
thats what im gonna try this summer, and slip it into a gutted 88 hatch hahaha
oh yeah,
i agree with justin vtec is stupid.
