Hi,

I have a 2001 civic and the dome light doesn't turn on when I open the passenger side door. It does workwhen I open the driver's side.Can anyone offer advice on how to fix this? Also, is there on on-line manual so I know what I am looking for?

My guess is that your passenger door switch is bad and needs to be replaced. This switch controls the dome light. In the picture, 11 points to the driver door switch. The switch you need to check is in an equivalent position on the passenger side.
