So I've been trying to figure out how to replace the bulb in the dome light in my 98 hatch while I'm at work and I can't figure it out. So plz help me out, I'm sure it super easy and Im missing something

 

You should be able to simply pull off the plastic cover and pull the bulb out within 30 seconds.

 

if the hatch dome is the same as sedan, there should be 2 little indented slots around where the cover meets the housing that are just big enough to slip a flat head screw driver in. carefully pry it off from those spots, and then pop the new bulb in an clean out the dead mosquitos and such while its off.
