Hey,
I have a 1999 honda civic LX, it is 4 door. And this morning, when I tried to open the left passenger side door (the passenger side right behind the driver), the door wouldn't open from outside! I checked to make sure the door was un-locked, but the door still wouldn't open! It did open from inside of the car, but it doesn't open from outside of the car. This all of a sudden started happening today. When I try to lock and un-lock, they little lock tab goes up and down, so I don't think there is an electronic connection problem.
So, any thoughts on what could be wrong?

Your outer door handle is broken or it has somehow become disconnected from the latch.
