Default Driverside window problem

95 Civic's driver side window won't go all the way up, it stops about 2 inches and will start jerking around. If I pull on it, it will come up and was thinking it sounded like the mechanism that raises and lowers is going out.
So is a 95 a scissors type lift or something else?

Or could it be the motor or something?

Thanks!!

it's a very common problem in civics. after some time, the regulator goes out, usually some part of the motor assembly that cannot be replaced. get a new window regulator with a motor.
