ebrake light

hey guys I have a 1998 Dx coupe its really cold and icy on the east coast of canada. the other morning I woke up and my ebrake was froze up i finally managed to get it released but the light is staying on I unplugged the battery and unplugged the sensor underneath it but it still stays on anymore ideas??? the brake is released totaly so i know its not stuck help??

Check your break fluid.
It might be low
