ECU Needed? Part Number?
It is very rare for the ECU to be bad.
Look here for possible vendors:

Many on the forum also seem to purchase ECUs on eBay.

Thanks for the info.
Do you know whereI can find the exact part number for the ECU so i can be sure it is the correct part.
CanI just plug in the replacementor doI need to do something first like flash the ECU?

I agree with Ron, get a second opinion before replacing your ECU.
As for replacement, check the label on your ECU for the part number (assuming it is the original one and correct for the car). It just plugs in. Be sure to disconnect the battery before unplugging or replugging an ECU.

i'll third that opinion, get a second opinion. ecus rarely have problems and when they do its ussually because the battery was not disconected during motor work. and when it was started there was a power surge. but i would have someone else check it out
