Default ECU Problems

Hi, I'm Tim

New to the forums and hoping to get my problem fixed. I've been told that I possibly have a bad ECU. No one knows for sure due to the fact of whoever did the motor swap didn't connect all the required wires for any shop to test it. I have photos listed. Please look at them and see if you can identify what model ECU this is.

I have a B16A2 in a 98 Civic 2 Door coupe

I don't think that's an ECU at all. ECU's have a lot more plugs on them. Could be a power window controller, etc. If your engine still starts with that part unplugged, it's not the ECU.

Thanks. Due to your response. I looked up where it should be located in my car and found my ECU. Thanks very much.
