Electric Servo problems
Hi. I just replaced the head, head gasket, clutch, timing belt, water pump, axles, and thermostat on my 87 honda civic dx. It was running fine after that. 2 weeks later I welded on a new muffler. I read something online saying that I should disconnect the battery when doing any type of welding on a car. I made the mistake of not doing just that. After the muffler was installed, I began to receive noises from my electric servo. It sounded like some sort of vibration. I ignored it and two days later my battery died. This was a new battery that I had not used much. I have not run it since fearing that it will kill any battery I put into it. One of my fears is that I might have fried something when I did the welding job. Anybody experience something like this before? The noise is coming from the electric servo in front of the car. Any idea why this would happen?
