Default electrical help!

I have a 93 civic dx that has no power. I stick in the key and nothing comes on. I had the car sitting there for a couple of months and i was in the process of jumping it off but couldn't get it to come alive. The battery is good, where do i go from there? Any help is good help at this moment.

did you check the fuses, if not the fuses, then maby the ingnition switch is burnt out, although i dont see that happening if it was just sitting there. also do you have an alarm system?

No alarm system, no burnt fuses and how would i be able to tell if the ignition switch is burnt out? Could a burnt ignition switch be a cause of no lights and no response what so ever?

You checked the main fuses in the little black box under the hood?

There is a 7.5A fuse that is labeled ( BACKUP ) was blown in the engine bay. Im going to try it tomorrow but when i stick the key in nothing happens. Its like the battery is disconnected. Interior lights dont even come on dimly. The car is totally electrically dead.

I was going to say that too, but he beat me to it. That fuse supplies power to the ecu to store all of the data the car was shut off with so on its next start it will try to even up to those same readouts the same. The backup fuse only effects the ecu though, but the car should light up if you turn on the key. Are you sure you have a good battery? Did you try hooking up a battery charger to the car's main terminals to see if it lights up with a 12 volt source attached to it? Let me know and I will suggest a few other things to follow.

I thought the car should still light up as well. I will replace the fuse but i still think there is another problem because of the fact that the cars lights outside and inside are all not working. The battery is brand new and i was is the process of jumping it off of a running car when i found out that the car didnt have any lights. So the battery had power but it just wasnt getting to the right place to turn lights on or start up.
