Default Electrical short/dead battery

Hi Honda fans,
I have a 1995 civic DX. It can sit there overnight, and start the next morning. However, I park it Friday night, and try to start it Sunday morning, and the battery is dead as a door nail. I measured the ohms at the battery terminal (disconnected from battery, going thru the harness) and its 117 ohms.
Got any clues as to the short/drain problem?
Many thanks, DP

Any additional equipment hooked up? Like an Amp or switched/unswitched lighting that can be pulling power regardless if ignition switched on or off.

You might want to try and set the voltmeter to volts. That will tell you if the battery is dead.

Disconnect the battery from the positive side of the battery. Using a 12V bulb and socket attach one wire of the bulb to the battery and the other end to the lose (+) battery cable. With everything off including the car door shut, the bulb should be out. If the bulb is on then you have a short in the system. Now, move to the fuse box. Remove one fuse at a time. When the bulb goes out, you have found the circuit causing the problem. Who knows from here until you determine what circuit is causing the problem.

Make SURE the doors are all shut. If a dome light switch is on, you will be chasing your tail. Thinking you found a problem, but all along it is a circuit turned on.

Good Luck. Shorts ain't fun.
