yes it is a vtec motor and im asuming u hvae a 96 or up EX

 

THANX GOOD CALL. I HAVE A 96 EX COUPE. IS THAT THE ONLY STOCK MOTOR FOR THE 96. WHICH IS THE FIRST DOHC YEAR FOR THE CIVIC (REBIRTH OF THE SI)?

yea the first year for the DOHC was the 99 si and the y8 is what comes in the ex..there are more like something different comes in the dx, ect..im not sure of the exact numbers tho..somthing like d15b_ someone here can help you with that..but you have the best motor as far as performance for that year

 

At the request of a more sensitive or probably on the rag member i will not type in caps anymore. ohbiskits you can't be serious about the performanceabout how many hp's am i working with stock i have a generic intake and exhaust.
