Recently my engine light came on, about a week later my civic 2000 ex started getting louder and lost the exhaust pipe between the manifold and muffler. I had this replaced but the light is still on. It's coding error P0420.

Last year at this time I replaced the cat converter and 02 sensors. Could the light be a result of the exhaust pipe emissions? I just can't see the cat going again.
